Volunteers are very important to Barbados Gospelfest’s ministry and mission. You are invited to REGISTER, stating your preferences for volunteer activities. Note that Volunteers are required to abide by our Code of Conduct, as follows:
- Conduct must reflect the values and principles of the Barbados Gospelfest.
- Attitude, speech and actions must demonstrate a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:24, 32, 5:1, Galatians 5:22-25).
- Consistently show Christian consideration, sensitivity and respect to all
- Perform duties in a manner that makes the greatest possible contribution to the intellectual, social and spiritual welfare of all Festival participants and attendees.
- Develop and maintain good rapport with fellow volunteers and associates by treating all with friendliness, dignity and consideration.
- Maintain a personal appearance that reflects modesty and good
- Be punctual (i.e. arrive at times specified by Barbados Gospelfest) and ensure that all duties are executed as required before leaving the venue of any event as assigned.
- Recognise the need for good public relations and represent Barbados Gospelfest in a favourable manner to the general public.
- Only persons authorised by Gospelfest (Barbados) Inc. are permitted to speak to the media on behalf of Barbados Gospelfest.
- Registering as a Volunteer does not automatically allow an individual free access to any other event to which they are not assigned.
